Official Giveaway Rules & Terms
Eligibility
Open to legal U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Void where prohibited by law.
Employees of Hotel Zindel, Somers Collection, SD Foodies, participating businesses, and their immediate family or household members are not eligible to win.
Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins on July 20, 2026 and ends on August 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
Entries submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
How to Enter
To receive a valid entry, participants must:
- Follow @sdfoodies and @thehotelzindel on Instagram.
- Like the official giveaway post.
- Tag at least one friend in the comments. Each additional tagged friend counts as one additional entry.
- Submit a valid email address through the official giveaway landing page to complete the entry.
Sharing the giveaway post to your Instagram Story and tagging both accounts earns one (1) bonus entry.
Only one email submission per person is permitted. Duplicate email entries, fraudulent entries, automated entries, or attempts to circumvent the entry process may result in disqualification.
Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
The winner will be contacted via the email address provided and Instagram Direct Message on or around August 15, 2026. The winner will also be announced on the Instagram Stories of SD Foodies and Hotel Zindel.
If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, Hotel Zindel reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
Prize
The prize includes:
- Two-night stay in Hotel Zindel’s Luxury Two-Bedroom Suite.
- Gift cards to participating Little Italy businesses.
Approximate Retail Value: Over $1,000.
Prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be exchanged or substituted except at Hotel Zindel’s discretion.
Hotel Stay Terms
The Hotel Zindel stay is subject to the following conditions:
- Valid for new reservations only.
- Stay must be booked Sunday through Thursday.
- Minimum two-night stay required.
- Subject to availability.
- Blackout dates apply, including holidays and holiday weekends.
- Credit card required at booking for incidental charges.
- Offer may not be combined with any other promotion, package, negotiated rate, group rate, or discount.
- Not valid on existing reservations.
- Late checkout is subject to availability and must be confirmed with the hotel prior to departure.
- Somers Collection reserves the right to modify or discontinue the promotional stay at any time.
Gift Cards
Gift cards included in the prize:
- will be distributed by Hotel Zindel during the winner’s stay;
- must be picked up in person during check-in or during the hotel stay;
- will not be mailed before or after the stay; and
- are subject to the individual terms, conditions, and expiration policies of each participating business.
Email Communications
By submitting an entry, participants agree to receive marketing emails from Hotel Zindel. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time without affecting future eligibility.
General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to these Official Giveaway Rules.
Hotel Zindel reserves the right to verify eligibility, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules, and cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the promotion.
The winner agrees that Hotel Zindel and SD Foodies may use their first name, city of residence, and photos related to prize fulfillment for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
